I have heard some very basic rules on this matter. Short names are better and the name shouldn’t end in a “O” sound. Because it sounds like ‘No”. So my first name of ENZO was out. Bummer..I liked that name. I went with a name that had a strong sounding first letter “K”.

Once you decide on a puppy name…whatever you do be consistent with that name and call your puppy by that name as much as possible.

Here are a few ideas:

Boy Puppy Names : Sam, Jake, Buddy, Baxter, Max, Radar, Kobi, Koda, Mr. Bojangels, Gator, Jon Jon, Oscar, Rusty, Lou, Mugsy, Thunder, Buster, Axle or Rowdy.

Girl Puppy Names: Sammie, Perdy, Paris, Missy, Allie, Kate, Kenya, Keepers, Kuma, Bailey, Brie, Bugsy, Fynn, Elle, Mandy, Maggie, Paisley, Pinky, Pooh-Bah, Scout, Sera, Shamrock, Sissy, Sunni, Teal, Tova, Wrigley.
